Mitsuoka History:
Mitsouka was formed in February-1968 and was established in October 1979 as an automobile company. However, Mitsouka only dealt in coach building. In fact, their history as a coach builder goes back to 1982 when the "BUBU shuttle 50" with 50cc engine was launched. This model was designed especially for disabled persons. This model is a starting point of Mitsuoka as a coach builder. After that Mitsuoka released replica models. In 1987, "BUBU classic SSK" was launched. In 1989 "BUBU 356 Speedster", in 1990 "Le-Seyde", in 1991 "Dore" was released. Among others, "Le-Seyde" received special attention from people. It was sold out in only 4 days for 500 units of limited production. The "Viewt" was released in 1993, which was reminiscent of famous Jaguar Mark II. 1994 Mitsuoka "Zero1" was released. Mitsuoka got type approval for this model and was recognized as the 10th Japanese passenger car manufacturer. It was sensationally announced through mass media. At this stage still we were a chassis manufacturer and just started. After that, "Galue", "Zero 1 Type F" and "Rei" were launched in 1996, and "Ryoga" in 1998. We could make up the base of our current lineup with these models. Mitsouka started to challenge to the 50cc engine car again. In 2007, Mitsouka was relaunched the "Le-Seyde’ after 10 years.

Mitsuoka Overview:
Mitsuoka Motors is a Japanese automobile company which builds modern Japanese cars to resemble British vehicles of the 1950s and 1960s. It is primarily a coachbuilder, taking production cars like the Nissan Micra and replacing the bodywork with its own custom designs. It has also produced a concept supercar, the Orochi. Famous owners in Britain include Wilmslow entrepreneur Spencer Davies and Watford based Communications Moghul Mr. James Connolly McGuigan.

Other Mitsuoka Details:
Through its years, the company has produced the following models; Galue, Le-Seyde, Orochi, Nouera, Ryoga, Ray, Viewt. The Mitsuoka Orochi was first built in 2001 and subsequently redesigned in 2003 and 2005. The car takes its name from the Yamata no Orochi of myth. The Mitsuoka Viewt is a modification of the Nissan March/Micra, intended to resemble the Jaguar Mark 2. It, along with Mitsuokasearlier Galue, encouraged larger Japanese manufacturers to produce retro-styled versions of their own cars. The first Viewt, introduced in January 1993, was produced on the basis of the K11 March. The Marchshatchback was replaced by a fixed rear window and rounded boot, and the front grille and headlamp assembly was replaced by one closely resembling that of the Jaguar Mark II. In standard form the interior was much the same as the March"s, but leather seats and wood trim could be added at extra cost. When the March was updated to K12, Mitsuoka produced a new Viewt, which first appeared in September 2005. The changes in the style of the March are evident to some extent in the new Viewt: for example, the shape of the rear door has changed and the cabin appears rounder. However, Mitsuoka have persisted with their Jaguar-style front and rear.
